As psychologists we have extensive training and expertise in the assessment and treatment of a range of difficulties that people might experience across their lifetime.

As psychologists we are trained in the assessment and treatment of a range of psychological disorders and mental health concerns that affect people across the lifespan. Problems we assess and treat include:

  • Anxiety / worry / panic / stress

  • Mood difficulties - depression / bipolar disorder

  • Adjustment / work / relationship issues

  • Sleep problems

  • Grief

  • Post-natal concerns

  • Coping with physical issues

  • Trauma

  • Personality issues

Psychological Treatment

We offer a range of psychological therapies for the treatment of mental health problems. For most of us, we predominantly use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, which looks at the relationship between how people think, feel, and behave. We also use a number of different treatment approaches which are matched to the needs of the individual, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Mindfulness-based Therapies

  • Compassion-Focussed Therapy

  • EMDR

We work with young adults, through to adults, and older adults, and work predominantly on a one-to-one basis.

Professional Supervision

A number of our clinicians provide professional supervision to a diverse range of health practitioners. This includes other psychologists across various specialities such as clinical, counselling, and general psychology, as well as nurses, social workers, and an extensive spectrum of medical doctors—from medical students at the beginning of their training through to experienced consultants and clinical leads.
